Stair-Rout™ Model 50
Our CNC stair stringer router used for wood stair construction (box stairs or open stairs) is fully automatic with no setup time.
This automatic machine is designed for use by a low skill operator. Simply match the numbers on the screen to the numbers on the shop work order using fractions down to 1/64" and press start (rout one or two boards simultaneously).
The stringer router can also accommodate other configurations including no riser stairs and extreme run sizes.
Everything is done with just the push of a button.
The Stair-Rout™ Model 50 is a fifth generation machine which uses CNC technology to automatically rout rise, run and advance the board.
Simple screen display requires operator to:
- Enter Rise
- Enter Run
- Enter Number of Routs
- Press Start
- Menu Selectable Operation (no programming)
Machine continuously checks for operator entry errors.
After routing is complete the operator has a default choice of repeating rise/run and number of routs or changing one or more selections.

Production stair operation typically only requires a change in rise and number of routs making production runs efficient. For custom stair builders the menu driven adjustments allows ease of use to manufacture almost any type and size staircase.
